Q.  Are Telguard communicators only for backup alarm transmission?   A.  No. Telguard cellular alarm communicators can serve as primary or sole path communicators, as well as backup solutions.

Q.  Which panels do your cellular communicators support?   A.  Telguard cellular communicators are compatible with virtually all alarm and fire panels.

Q.  Do your residential cellular communicators support Two-way voice?   A.  All of the Telguard cellular alarm communicators support two-way voice.

Q.  Do you offer a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS)?   A.  No. We offer the TG-P, a PERS accessory, that enables existing PERS solutions to communicate over the cellular network in place of landline communications.

Q.  If I am installing your commercial fire product (TG-7FS) do I also need to install a second path?   A.  No. Telguard’s TG-7FS is UL-864 listed to serve as the sole path of communication for commercial fire systems. Compliant with the 2010 Edition of NFPA 72, the TG-7FS can serve as the sole communications path for the fire alarm system, replacing all of the landlines currently dedicated to the master control unit.
